According to measurable indicators, Quebec is the 6th happiest place to live on earth. Jurisdictions ahead of us are also known for high taxation rates, quality services and decent redistribution systems. (i.e. low taxation rates don’t buy happiness, just more crap from Walmart.)

Sitting with my mom at the hospital marvelling at the amazing care she is getting thanks to the taxes that I happily pay.
