When I first ran for Congress and made housing part of my campaign, people told me: "Housing isn’t the government's problem."
Bullshit. High costs and homelessness aren't inevitable. They are a direct result of our policy choices.

I sure hope there is a class action lawsuit. When that lawsuit gets to the Supreme Court (you know it will), can you imagine the horror of every last judge as they consider how they themselves would react, if given the same set of circumstances?
