Ironic that the descendants of those who forcibly removed Indigenous peoples along the Trail of Tears are now receiving life-saving aid from the descendants of those Appalachian Indigenous communities.

OMG. And the #NC Senate decided to vote today to override the Governor’s veto on a bill that will force sheriffs to work with ICE. This law goes into effect Dec. 1st of this year.

Ya’ll, our elected officials are meeting right now and just voted to essentially remove the power of our next Governor… and our Governor decided to leave the state today and leave our unhinged Lt governor to vote yes or no on the veto.
