Yes, this does feel like I just sat down at the “friend’s bench.” Thank you to the friendly people of Bluesky for all the help!
“Yesterday I visited my son's school and I saw a bright colored bench in the yard. I asked if it was new.
He said to me, ′′no, that's the ‘friend’s bench.’ When someone is down, they'll sit there so others find them."
To me, that’s how finding Bluesky feels.
