In a savvy move aimed at dealing with two enemies at once, Trump has ordered the 11th Infantry to annex the Minnesota Vikings. JJ McArthy will be abducted to make room for Aaron Rodgers.

Roughly 80% of immigrant-owned businesses along key corridors in Minneapolis and St. Paul have closed in the past week as employees and customers stay home in fear of ICE agents detaining them.
Immigrant corridors in both Minneapolis and St. Paul nearly shut down by intensifying ICE actions
Revenue down from 50% to 100% at immigrant businesses along Lake Street and in St. Paul’s east side. Businesses say the impact is worse than COVID’s.

A lot of non-Minnesotans are asking how they can help people in the Twin Cities. Here's a very easy way that will cost you absolutely nothing.

Do not vent in the replies to videos or other posts from Minnesotans.

We're all on edge, and your rageposting and doomposting isn't what we need right now.

I’m still just floored by the fact that we justifiably must close our public schools to protect our kids from the federal government.

My biggest pet peeve at the gym is people who leave their weights on the bench after finishing their exercise, thus making everyone unsure if they can use it. Clean up after yourself.

Went out to eat tonight and split it 50-50. The waitress brought two bills, each with half the amount, but the "suggested tips" on each bill was based on the full amount. Bug in the software or intentional?

The 'kin' of ‘napkin’ means "little."

‘Nap’ comes from ‘nape,' which means “tablecloth.”

So a napkin is a little tablecloth.

You don't know what day it is.
You're eating countless meals a day with lots of snacks in between.
You're napping throughout they day.
Either it's the time between Christmas and New Year or you're a cat.

We made porketta, meatballs in red sauce, and Italian sausage in peppers. Will be eating leftovers for days but I’m good with that.

The ‘deck’ in “Deck the Halls” means “to decorate.”

But, it is not related or a shortening of ‘decorate.’

It comes from the Dutch word meaning “to cover.”

You also use it when you’re all “decked out.”

I love seeing the highland cows at the Minnesota State Fair.
Put your troubles away and take a peaceful Highland break with Wallace and Babs. ❤️

‘Futz’ means “to fool around” or “to behave in a way that is not very serious.”

It is thought to have come from a modification of the Yiddish phrase ‘arumfartsn zikh,’ the literal translation of which is “to fart around.”

Excuse us.
