Die Friedrichstraße soll sich also verändern. Und dennoch ist es traurig, dass das Auto so fest im Kopf verankert ist, dass selbst einem Mio. teuren „Zukunftskonzept“, der Mut fehlt, sich vom Alten zu lösen. Das ist schade aber gleichzeitig ein passendes Sinnbild für den aktuellen Zustand von 🇩🇪(7/8)

…gleichzeitig wird die große Chance verpasst, diese Straße endlich mal ins 21. Jhd. zu holen und damit ein Leuchtturm-Projekt zu schaffen. Paris hat in den letzten 10 Jahren über 300 Straßen autofrei gemacht, 500 weitere sollen folgen und in 🇩🇪 traut man sich nicht mal an eine Straße heran. (6/8)

So soll die Straße nach dem Willen der CDU bald aussehen. Mit weniger Parkplätzen, breiteren Gehwegen und mehr Bäumen. Ehrlich gesagt: Fast alles im Vergleich zum Jetzt- Zustand, wäre eine Verbesserung, weshalb eine Korrektur des aktuellen Verkehrschaos immer zu begrüßen ist, aber… (5/8)

Das hat jetzt endlich auch CDU-Bürgermeister Kai („Berlin, lass dir das Auto nicht verbieten“) Wegner erkannt. Gestern präsentierte er neue Pläne für die Friedrichstraße. Natürlich ohne „ideologische Experimente“, weshalb auch in der Friedrichstraße keine Autos fehlen dürfen, aber seht selbst…(4/8)

Seitdem sieht die Straße wieder so aus. Und Überraschung: Das Gewerbe profitierte so gar nicht. 2024 schloss sogar nach 29 Jahren das Kaufhaus Galeries Lafayette. Schlimmer noch: Vor wenigen Tagen kam raus. Die Friedrichstraße ist Berlins gefährlichste Straße. Nirgendwo, kracht es häufiger. (3/8)

Wir erinnern uns: 2023 hat sich die CDU noch auf Instagram mit diesem Vorher-Nachher Bild „gerühmt“, dass sie das „ideologische Experiment“ der Grünen, nämlich eine 500m lange Fußgängerzone, wieder rückgängig gemacht haben. Ein Hauptargument damals: Weniger Autos schaden dem Gewerbe. (2/8)

Sitze beim internationalen (🇩🇪🇪🇸🇫🇮🇬🇷) Forschungsprojekt ACES (Ambiguity Competence for Education and Society) bei dem das Ziel verfolgt wird, Ansätze zu entwickeln, um Ambiguitätstoleranz als Kompetenz in Bildungswesen zu lernen, üben und pflegen und so u.a. besser mit Komplexität umgehen zu können.

Werde hier immer wieder vom Projekt #ACES berichten und Infos, Gedanken, Hinweise oder Material dazu teilen. Menschen zu befähigen, mit Mehrdeutigkeit (in einer immer komplexeren Welt) umgehen zu können, stärkt eine Demokratie. (Weshalb das an sich gesamtgesellschaftlich verfolgt werden sollte.)

Archaeologists think the building may have been used as a temple; it was decorated with wall cones similar to those at the early Sumerian metropolis of Uruk. A fragment of a gold pendant and a cylinder seal are among the tantalizing finds so far.
