I love when modern character designs are kept simple -- there's this tendency since graphics got more powerful to add a billion greebles and dongles and doodads all over every character, 14 layers of clothing that don't make sense and would take half an hour to put on, etc. But *I* love simplicity.

One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.
When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.

I'm not seeing this being talked about here, but Masahiro Sakurai has announced that his beloved kitty, Fukurashi, is suffering from organ failure, and he's going to stay with her in her final days.
Poor kitty. We've all been there, so I absolutely feel for Mr. Sakurai right now.
