I want this place in this forum to be a place of safety. I’m just here, with my books be they as they may. Anyone who just wants to talk, I’m not a trained anything outside of writing. My degrees are in Classical Rhetoric & Trad Composition. MA in 1800’s Austen, & that was a mistake.

I want to say this for all young writers or old writers who just aren’t ready yet to say I wrote this, I finished it, or I started and got completely convinced it wasn’t okay. Put it out there. Even if it’s not perfect, and you know you wrote differently or pushed boundaries. Let yourself write.

I did it, I self-published the first books I wrote 20 years ago. Confession, I didn’t know I was pregnant yet and only married 3 months. I woke up one morning with this thing in my head telling me to write a new fairytale. And then I accidentally started a fairy world.

Getting five books finalized for self-pub after 20 years of letting them collect “dust” on flash drives was not as simple as I thought. But it’s done now and in time for Beltane, which is certainly appropriate for a witch & fairy saga. I know I should be proud of finishing but now its anxiety time.

I’m keeping this social media thread separate from my other author pages because I just published a witch/fairy fantasy series that I wrote 20 years ago, and I want to have a place just for living that life. So any fairy or witch or goblin lovers out there, say hi, and please be my friend.

20 years ago I wrote a fantasy series that I never published or did anything with. Flash forward to today and now I’ve got some serious health issues that scare me. As a distraction, I decided to publish the fantasy series to Amazon because why not at this point? Anyway, hopefully someone reads it.
