Skyrealms of Jorune. I vividly remember the ads in Dragon Magazine and circling it in the Wargamers West catalog. The art looked so alien compared to D&D, but I never bought it, never played it. Did you play Jorune in the 80s? Was it as weird as the ads made it look? #40YearsAGamer #TTRPG

I totally forgot that I ran Secret Wars for Marvel FASERIP back in '86. That first group played everything: D&D, Robotech, and Star Frontiers. My players barely escaped Battleworld before Galactus turned it into a snack. rpggeek.com/rpgitem/5018...

Today we played session 12o of our Savage Fading Suns campaign. Eding the 3rd arc and beginning the 4th and final arc of the campaign. We got chinese food take-out and sang happy birthday to the two players who had birthdays. I am so thankful for my friends who are also the players in the game.
