kinda miss being Within a fandom, but at the same time my mental health has never been consistently better than it is now since moving away from fandoms. i think what i really miss is how being a catradora fan in may 2020 felt 😭

there’s like actually no good way of organising every poem you’ve ever written. i have some on random pieces of paper, on google drive, in my notes app, in university exercise books, on the back of photo copies, published in an anthology (sorry i just wanted to flex with that one). help!

i performed my recently published poem for the first time yesterday and a woman who is both my senior in terms of age AND literary experience turned to me and said it had made her cry and we had a meaningful conversation about my work ! like what !

Creativity is like a houseplant, not an endless well. You need to seek out sunlight, water, and nutrients in art, shows, music, experiences, and more to tend to it. And just like plants it has its dormant and active periods and you may not seem improvement for some time.

ugh i’m annoyed because whenever i’m at work i am writing stuff in my head that like. IS GOOD!! and i never have time to write it down and then i get home and try to recreate it and it’s just not the same because i’ve forgotten the order that sounded good in my head
