OHHH stingray for a sona sounds so fun, but it does sound a bit tricky... there's probably so many cool ways in which they could be adapted though!! good luck!!

for example: ravens and crows genuinely Do Not Exist where i live so instead i went with grackles. they're smart and fun little fellows!! and i get to see them daily!!

unfortunately its just like the rest of the internet in which (mostly) usa users refuse to remember everyone else exists which is a big L considering there's so many beautiful things to be learned from others experiences tbh

i think many ppl in sl would be less miserable on daily interactions if they realized a lot of ppl in here have "feet in the mouth" disease which isn't surprising given how a lot of people are neurodivergent. that and like easily half of the userbase is from non-english speaking countries
