We’re feeling angry about a lot of things today, but THIS is something to celebrate. 🎉

Love is love. Thankful that it will stay that way.

Last night, people across the country used their votes to make a statement - we’re riding high on that energy.

TN was a blue state once, and we can get back to balanced representation again. It just takes a little courage and a lot of work. Sign up now.

We had a great time at our potluck last night!

This month, we are collecting non-perishables for local nonprofits, as well as new, unopened toys for Toys for Tots.

The office will be open Tuesdays from 9-1 and Fridays 1-5 for drop off or you can bring donations to any of our events.

A favorite slogan to come from the last election cycle in our very red area of #Tennessee is “It’s not radical to care about people”.
Sadly we are all going to have to pitch in to keep our neighbors from starving (in America! 🤦‍♀️)
If your area is doing a food drive, please post about it to amplify.
When the government fails you, it’s time to turn to mutual aid. With SNAP benefits not going out next month, it’s time to step up and help.

Over the next month and a half, the Sumner Dems will be collecting food for both Feed Sumner and Shalom Zone. We are requesting non-perishable food items. 1/3

Indivisible Sumner said exactly what we feel. At approximately 12:30 AM this morning, the Sumner County Commission voted to appoint right-wing influencer Riley Gaines to the Sumner County library board.

Gaines was not present at the meeting and her sole library experience includes terrorizing… 1/2

What a day! ❌👑🇺🇸

With approximately 600 people in attendance, No Kings Gallatin was an incredible time of community, encouragement, and resistance.

We’re especially proud of Sumner County’s newest organizer for the work he put in this week….

My name is Aftyn Behn, and I am running for Congress to feed kids, fix roads, and fund hospitals. I pledge to be a Congresswoman for the working families of America, and not for the corporations.

Now let's flip the table, flip this seat, and take back the house.

🚨 It’s back FOR A THIRD TIME!

Joanna is trying to bring this unconstitutional policy back one more time before she’s no longer on the library board. This time, she’s even coordinating with multiple churches to inundate the meeting with supporters who don’t actually understand the policy. 1/3

We had a wonderful time supporting the Sumner NAACP chapter at their annual dinner!

When organizations talk about the importance of voting, regardless of who you’re voting for, you know that they stand for good things!

Congratulations to President Rutledge and his team on a job well done!

This isn’t a headline, it’s a lifeline.

I’m the only woman running in TN-07 — and I’m ready to take on the far right and deliver for working Tennesseans.

On the 24th anniversary of 9/11 we call for unity, not division.

The myth of post-9/11 unity ignores how our Black and brown neighbors endured suspicion, hatred and violence.

Yesterday’s tragedies remind us: division is a choice, but so is unity — and true community is the strongest resistance.

On this Labor Day, thank a union.

From workers’ safety to weekends off to 40-hour work weeks to the end of child labor and beyond, unions have been fighting to protect the people.

In TN, much of the power of collective-bargaining has been stripped away from the people by our legislators.
