This is so lovely to read ... kind of just wrote it to get some feelings out really, it was therapeutic to write ... the realisation that I have so many good people in my life that I can just be myself with ... but sadness too for the friends I miss deeply. Thanks @omgitsagirl2015.bsky.social 💜

I am thinking of closing my social media accounts (not sure 4 how long or indefinite), not in d greatest headspace, had deactivated my bluesky account but felt myself getting angrier & angrier watching this this morn so just thought i'd do one last shout into the virtual abyss before I go 😔 Ok bye 😊
Have spent the morning listening to this. The opposition have done great work here this morn in advocating for persons with #disabilities but I just switched off because I cannot listen to any more disingenuous rhetoric from Govt. Disgusted #SpéirGorm #Spéirgorm #DisabilityRights

I hope people stay with their sorrow when they watch this instead of problem solve, at least for some minutes. Let the hurt burn your throat. Let the water roll down your cheeks. Take the moments to grieve w/o doing. This part is vital to keep Alex human and not just a symbol.

This is so so unbelievably devastating 💔 I had a procedure in hospital recently (a hospital I worked in) & was talking to an old nursing colleague about how once a nurse, always a nurse no matter what you are doing & how you always feel bonded to other nurses. RIP Alex Jeffrey Pretti.
