Old vs. new. A centuries-old well, pump and washhouse, where someone in a t-shirt, shorts and sneakers places a plastic washbasket against the wall in 2017. Wonder which will disintegrate first, the stone buildings or the washbasket? #EastCoastKin #ArcanumAlumni #France2017

Randomly sharing a favourite memory. A friend is in France, and nostalgia loomed from my time there in 2017. So many images yet to play with. And I've missed you all. #EastCoastKin

You only see what you’re eyes want to see
How can life be what you want it to be?

Green Sea Mornings in Mazatlan Mexico.
Can sit and enjoy this for as long as it lasts, which isn't long, hence the pic. Sept 2023

Haven't posted for a while. It has been a wonky couple of months. But I want to keep sharing things I love. Just cuz I love them. Photographing feet is just so much fun. Open for full view. #EastCoastKin #France #FineArtPhotography #StreetPhotography #FunWithFeet

Best viewed large - because the tiny animals atop this cliff and the huge waves below at the bottom of the cliff, are the real story. Curio Bay. #EastCoastKin #NewZealand #TravelPhotography #Stunday #FineArtPhotography #G+Circle

Porpoise Bay beach, wide, long, perfect for wading in, watching the patterns in the sand. Calm, tranquil, warm, peaceful. #patterns #NewZealand #EastCoastKin #Beaches #Photography #Beachscape

This is a scene that I returned to three times to try and get the right light. Another one I want to spend a month nearby so I can get early morning and late evening shots, find a way to get different angles, etc. #Stunday #EastCoastKin #G+Circle #Landscape #Photography #FineArtPhotography #NZ

Pampas grass? Or the native tall grass? New Zealand used to be able to keep out invasive species, but every country seems to struggle with this now. Soon there will be no point in traveling. #EastCoastKin #ArcanumAlumni #Photography #FineArtPhotography

Since I'm a flatlander, I was enthralled by this vintage peak identifier. Of course, there's an app for that now. I think I liked this better. #EastCoastKin #ArcanumAlumni #G+Circle #NewZealand #VintageTools #FineArtPhotography #Photography

The "real" Scarlet Pimpernel. These teeny tiny flowers are really only a few mm's across. I'd only ever seen them "in the wild" once before, so when I saw them on the other side of the world, I had to try and capture them. #EastCoastKin #Flowers #ArcanumAlumni #Photography

Tiny fern fronds up close. Love the little polka dots on them. And the way they look like they're dancing. A fern rave. #EastCoastKin #ArcanumAlumni #Photography #Macro #NewZealand

Just sharing what I love. This is a scenic pulloff between Auckland and Warkworth, NZ. It was a rainy day, but I didn't care. I was finally back in the country I love. #EastCoastKin #rainylandscape #photography #ArcanumAlumni #NewZealand

The Canadian Rockies are home to some of this planet's most spectacular mountain scenery. Radiating clouds reflect the last light of day onto beautiful turquoise Peyto Lake & surrounding mountains. True to its name, the mountains of the Endless Chain end at the edge of the world. #photography
