Ossoff: He’s so consumed by his efforts to secure revenge, crush his enemies, and conquer Greenland that he’s doing nothing for the people who elected him. His entire domestic agenda is tax breaks for the wealthy, rounding up immigrants, revenge, and centralizing as much power as he can..

Agreed
As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DON’T EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other people—especially ones who aren’t like him at all.

I'm about to drop a piece at The Atlantic on this Pentagon purge. As I warned, Trump is capturing Justice, Intelligence, the military. This is praetorianism, pure and simple.

An amazing resignation letter to Bove from an AUSA who worked on the Adams case.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

I finally watched Fallout. I love the way the told the story, weaving in various characters and thoughtfully laying out the history of this world in a way that didn’t feel like they were forcing it. 10/10, highly recommend if you’re into Sci-fi.

Again: it's only in politics that climate change is considered a "debate." Where people actually have to deal with its effects, such as in the insurance industry, it's simply a fact. It'll be bad; what's unknown is just how bad.
