Albuquerque can grow stronger from the ground up.
Support zoning updates that legalize duplexes, townhomes, and cottage courts, allow tienditas & daycares, make casitas easier to build, and reduce wasteful parking mandates.

We visited Culdesac Tempe in 108° heat.
It was one of the only places where people were outside: walking, eating, biking.

This car-free neighborhood worked.
So why can’t we have that in Albuquerque?

🧵 A short story in 4 slides and how you can help:
August 7, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Albuquerque is short 56,000+ homes.
R-25-167 is a bottom-up, opt-in zoning fix that lets property owners add casitas, duplexes, and corner stores—without mandates.

🏘️ Let’s pass it.

Propaganda we’re not falling for:
🚫“No one takes the bus in ABQ”
🚫“Transit isn’t safe”
🚫“We’re too spread out”
Reality:
✅ ART=$800M+ in development
✅ 65% drop in crashes on Central
✅Transit is safer, more sustainable, & connects people+places
✅ Paired with zoning reform it unlocks affordable housing
