The temptation to duck & cover & hope the attack passes over us can be strong. But ultimately, they'll come back around for all of us. They are out to destroy the American university, which they view as a threat. So we might as well stand up, speak out, & fight back while we still have the chance.

Had this House Finch land on my feeder, chasing off another as he landed. Poor guy is missing a leg, or at least his foot, or it’s injured enough he’s kept it tucked the whole time.

Saw the Gorge last night with my kids. I worry that they are going to grow up having learned much of their science and history through listening to me yell at the bad movies I make them watch.
