Summary: There were stars in his veins. A faint glow of sunlight pulsed right where skin rose to cradle the network of webbing that wrapped around the Ophelian King's bare forearms. His wrists were locked in opaque, crystal cuffs to keep his arm span wide and taut. Somehow—though Jimin had no recollection of how or when—the notebook he had brought to document the coronation ceremony was no longer in his hands but resting on his seat. He was on his feet, brows furrowed, fingers twitching at his side, utterly transfixed at the sight of Jeon Jungkook kneeling on the center dais like a god of broken constellations. Jungkook wasn’t a comfort to him. He was barely a friend. But how long did it take a shooting star to become a comet? Everyone was watching the alien king’s coronation with such awe, but all Jimin saw was a man burning in pain, shouldering the burden of an entire solar system that had lost its sun, with him alone willing to save it. Or Park Jimin goes to a new planet as an intergalactic translator, only to spend much more time with an alien king than professionally appropriate. Any comments on this work? It's basically if a dungeons and dragons campaign was set in space and also kookmin.

Goood morning!! I've got a wordcount to hit and replies to make but let's start off with a little #wipwednesday for my modern NYC take on Beauty and the Beast, featuring an absolutely delicious #jikook dynamic (yes I am bias).
a snippet of my writing from my work of BTS/jikook fanfiction body text reads: With the other man gone, the shadows grow soft once more, the darkness receding and the warm glow of an amber afternoon spilling through the windows. Jeongguk sighs and steps into his bedroom and softly shuts the door behind him, “Hey, kitty cat,” he sings into the silence, “it’s just us now.” No sound whatsoever comes from the closet, unless he counts the cacophony of little heartbeats still beating out a staccato song into the stillness. “I’m sorry he let himself in like that. I’m sorry I wasn’t here.” He hums to himself as he steps into the closet space, drawing closer to where the scent of sweetness and fear is the strongest, “Can you come out now, baby doll? Cute as it is that you came here to hide.” Slowly, cautiously, a small hand emerges from behind his long coats and tailored pants, then a little-moon face with wide eyes and sharp fangs. “Ah, does the kitten have teeth?” Jeongguk smiles and crouches, hands dangling between his knees. “I’d love to have walked in on you biting him, if I’m honest. But as annoying as Taehyung is, he’ll never hurt you.” a snippet of my writing from my work of BTS/jikook fanfiction body text reads: Jimin blinks and looks down, a blush high on his cheeks as he sits in front of Jeongguk, “He surprised me—I’m used to running and hiding when strangers show up and… I feel like you would have told me, if someone was going to be here.” Jeongguk hums in agreement, “I wasn’t expecting to see him, in fact I usually don’t, but here we are.” He winks and straightens up, “I’ll buy you something pretty to make up for the scare, yeah? “That’s… very wealthy of you,” Jimin says with a helpless shrug and slumped shoulders. “Well, what else can I offer doll? A hug? A kiss? Would you like me to scent you? Would that calm you down?” Jeongguk laughs at the renewed blush on the leopard’s cheeks, the way he ducks and hides. He leans in, teasing and light, “Look at you, pretty thing. What’s wrong? Cat got your tongue?” Jimin keeps his head down, but he leans forward, head butting lightly into Jeongguk’s shoulder like an affectionate cat, and Jeongguk rubs at his hair fondly, chuckling when the hybrid falls back on his heels with a content huff. “If you want to stay here until he’s gone you can. I’ll make sure to keep our meeting short.”
