"Someone Else's Music: Opera and the British" traces attitudes towards opera, 1920-2020.

It reveals a forgotten history of popular opera-going, which challenges the elitism stereotype. It also examines when and why that stereotype arose.

Every American ought to be FURIOUS at this decision.
#BREAKING: 5-4 Court, with Barrett joining the three Dem. appointees in dissent *vacates* Chief Judge Boasberg’s temporary restraining orders in the Alien Enemy Act cases. Judicial review must be available, Court holds, but has to come through habeas petitions:

Hot Take 🎤: I get rebranding “Americano” as “Canadiano” given the…*gestures broadly,* but also the term “Americano” probably has insulting origins already: American soldiers in Europe during WWII diluting espresso with hot water, and Central Americans insulting weak coffee. Neither is a good thing 😂

Next goal: do something cool enough to warrant an article? 🤣🎶

Y’all, I read A LOT of books and comics, but I gotta tell Punko is an amazing author and artist. Go read all of her Webtoons. Terrifying horror, hilarious comedy, brilliantly paced romance, with a healthy dose of heartbreak and emotional torment in all the right ways. #CinderellaBoy #Stagtown #Punko
