The absurdity of the last few years dulls the severity of today, but we can’t let it. We can’t let this become our normal, we can’t become completely numb to how bad things actually are.

Despite saying I was staying out of the museums for my entire 2weeks off (off as in not working in the museum, just WFH) I caved n went in today, I was a bit frozen and overwhelmed with the to-dos, BUT it’s good I went in because by the end I had a plan and now Monday will be so much easier…right 🤞🏽

Things I should not have done in the same day, finish the Eras Tour docuseries and take in the news that Tatiana Schlossberg died. Teary parasocial mess, but emotions are emotions and in 2025 our realities truly are processing our personal lives through cultural events. Crying my way out of 2025.

Finally found an audiobook for the car today, that first Narnja book everyone always skips over 😂 the kids (although they were worried they’d day dream too much) actually played attention to almost half The Magician’s Nephew 🙌🏽 #parentwin
