I suppose I should be a bit more clear about why I keep needing to ask for aid: I am currently attempting to return to college as none of the jobs I can get can be held for a long enough time. Being transfemme, it doesn't take many mistakes or issues for me to become terminated. Therefore, I've started working with the local DVR in my state to attain a training grant to return to employment, as I do not have the proper education to get an apprenticeship, nor attain a high enough paying job. That being said, I also live with two other trans people, both disabled to the point that they also cannot hold a job. They are both collecting SSI, with one of them still in process for receiving it. His case is very likely to go though, as his medical records show he is unable to work. Even with SNAP and unemployment, I cannot keep up the very high costs that is needed in order to not only keep up rent and utilities, but also handle the day-to-day expenses and costs that come with being a disabled household of 3. While all 3 of us have autism, I am the only one that is High-Functioning enough to be able to be employed, on top of the fact that I have no physical conditions that are preventing me from working. At the time of writing this, I just had to give up the last of what I was saving in order to ensure my roommates and I were able to get groceries. As of now, I'll need to find a way to make up $1700 for rent, due Within 1 week from today to prevent eviction. I'm... just tired. I'm so tired. I am so tired of begging. I just want to be able to exist and live my life without having to pick school, my transition, housing, or employment to sacrifice for my this family's well being. I will say that if we do not get the aid we require, I will most likely have to drop out of school and end my transition to return to work full time. This stress has gotten so bad that last week on Monday I almost decided to cut myself.
