Brisbane airport now officially closed from 4pm local time, until Sunday. Virgin still claiming flights cannot be cancelled for a refund.

It took me 3 hours to recrimp and make work a 3d printer stepper motor cable. Every time I thought I had it right I would snap a crimp off. In the process I think I shorted either the stepper motor or the stepper motor driver....

I have 140 thermistors of various types shapes and sizes and not one of them is suitable to replace this faulty one. At least not unless I want to frankenmod this thing.

Found an extra cat in the house last night, just before bed. No idea how it got inside as we have microchip controlled cat doors, all the windows are cat proof and none of us opened the door for the cat. No Collar. Off to the family vet to be IDd and returned home.
