In holding Jan 6ers didn't "interfere w/an official proceeding," SCOTUS cited Congress's careful delineation of other obstruction statutes to reject broad reading of interfere w/an official proceeding. Same for tariffs, supporting rejecting a broad reading of "regulate commerce" to include tariffs.

Frustration aside, why all the hate? GOP must vote on ACA taking public position. If House won't take up, CR only goes to January when Dems can shutdown again if no solution. Meanwhile, people get SNAP & can travel for the holidays? What am I missing?

These videos show Ice agents committing assault and battery, a tort and a crime. It is not self defense to knock someone down for standing in front of you. The law requires you to walk around. A mask doesn't change that.
ICE has been deployed to *provoke* civilians, not to protect them. They want to throw tear gas canisters and get people on the streets riled up, all to create footage for Fox News and Newsmax, et al., that will be used as a pretext for imposing martial law to lower voting rates in Democratic cities.
The only violence I’ve been seeing in Portland is from the so-called Feds!!!

You know that a guy is dealing drugs on the street where you live. So, you get your gun & go out to his corner. You see him in the act. So, you shoot him dead. Lawyer here, but you probably don't need one to know that's murder 1, which is kind of the highest of crimes.

Kash Patel told a Senate committee that no list of rapists exists in the Epstein files. Probably true & not surprising. Who would keep such a list? What certainly does exist is a list of people engaged with Epstein in a variety of ways. And that should be released.
