The UK has no written constitution. The ECHR is the only law stopping MPs changing voting rules to stay in power.

Let that sink in, see what's happening in the US. Would you trust our government to not change the rules to stay in power if they could? #ECHR

We need to stop viewing the wealthy as saviours for employing people. They don't hire out of kindness. They hire because they cannot build an empire alone.

Employees make the vision happen. A job is a business necessity, not a philanthropic gift.

The inquiry says an earlier lockdown could have saved 23,000 lives in the first wave in England - and lockdown could have been avoided altogether with earlier interventions.

Elon Musk plans a new chip factory in the United States, but taxpayers are paying through huge tax breaks. These factories rarely bring back enough revenue or jobs to justify the public investment. We fund it, he profits, and we are told it is progress.

Most people wouldn’t mind paying more tax if their wages actually covered a normal life.
A home.
A weekend out.
A single job that pays the bills and still leaves a bit of joy.

Question on question time do we pay enough tax for public services? No we don't, but that's partly because our wages are so low that we cannot pay the right amount of tax and live comfortably and enjoy our lives. #bbcqt
