Remember: It is a mystery to every journalist and pundit why this Labour government are so roundly and universally detested.
Govt minister Darren Jones is asked what element of international law gives the US the right to abduct the leader of another country.

Jones says he's not qualified to answer that question and he's not a spokesperson for the US administration.

Darren Jones truly woeful on Times Radio right now. Managing to sound both condescending and craven.

Answering “I’m not a commentator” when asked to comment on the legality of the USA’s actions in Venezuela just comes across terribly. The government would’ve been better just putting no one up.

Spain, once again, showing other European leaders how it’s done
Luckily, not everybody, Sánchez, probably the one with better information about Venezuela:

Jasmine El-Gamal states, quite correctly, that Maduro and his wife were abducted.

The presenter queries that choice of words

Gamal replies: "They went into their.. bedroom in the middle of the night & snatched them away. If that's not a kidnapping, I don't know what is"

Darren Jones is asked if the US bombing Venezuela & abducting its leader was lawful

Jones says he won't give a view on the action & he goes on to say its not up to politicians to make judgements on international law. Phillips points out thats exactly what they've done on Ukraine

I'm not a mug. I know Britain has been America's lap dog my entire lifetime, but I don't think a single PM has been quite as fucking craven in their obedience as Keir Starmer.

"I have stepped up that responsibility [and] I do get on with President Trump," he tells the BBC

Keir Starmer and the Labour Party, yes all of it.

Spray painting a plane "terrorism"

Being Irish and performing rap "terrorism"

Invading a sovereign country and taking its leader hostage "nothing to see here, just need to chat with the perpetrator and discuss our shared values".

Fuck Labour

Starmer and Farage both drape themselves in flags but once again it's really clear where their loyalty really is.

It's Trump first. They will always be on the side of the super rich and powerful - no matter how heinous the crime.

This is not patriotism. It's subservience.

Trump's attack on Venezuela will create global instability.

Will prolong the Ukraine war. How could the US condemn and sanction Russia?

Encourage Putin to kidnap Zelensky.

Encourage China to takeover Taiwan.

What is the point of the UN if rogue powers can do whatever they want?
