I kinda took an unplanned break from gamedev because I'm dealing with personal stuff but I really gotta get back to it. Thinking about making some changes to the character design so I started that recently.

The ROM for the unreleased Famicom RPG Splatter World has been released (in a thread on 4chan, of all places). I've tried it myself, and it does seem to be genuine. If it's a fake, it's a damn good one.

You don't understand, I can't work on my gamedev project. I need to camp the Bastok auction house in Final Fantasy 11 for fire crystals so I can craft hella hatchets, which levels both blacksmith and carpentry skills at the same time. The SAME TIME.

"Fresh", sealed copies of Super Mario RPG actually have a unique title screen. This screen is lost permanently on that cartridge after playing and saving just once, and can not be restored without tinkering with the cartridge or waiting decades for the save battery to run out.

Been playing Final Fantasy 11 using a controller, positioning my right hand kinda like this. It's to help with grip strength and hand pain issues. Occurs to me this probably wouldn't even be feasible in 14 but it's been a big help in 11.
This is an 8BitDo Ultimate, btw. Great controller.

The Rad Gravity title theme is honestly cool as fuck and I respect George Sanger for writing it. Its not a sort of chaos that comes from incompotence or lack of understanding how music is written, its very deliberate and you cant make something like that unless you know exactly what youre doing.

I haven't been feeling so great recently and have been passing the time with a phone game called Doomsday: Last Survivors. One of those pay-to-win ones. It is with a heavy heart that I announce I'm fully addicted to it.
