Early Years is sometimes just brilliant. I’ve been walking to/from work and when taking off my socks and shoes to put on my thicker socks and boots to walk home a little boy looked at my bare feet, somewhat incredulous, “you got feet” he said. 😂😊

On bonfire night Gwen is allowed a tennis ball in the house. It’s not a total distraction but such is her obsession with ball play it has proven more effective than absolutely anything else we have tried over the years. Including drugs from the vet.

And every time you open a new box of paracetamol it’s the leaflet end.
To the people letting off the fireworks that are terrifying my dog, I wish you a lifetime of having to wash up bowls that have had Weetabix in them but haven’t been put into soak.

Gwen has very reluctantly been brushed to within an inch of her life, burrs and matts cut out and finally a shampoo in the shower. For a dog who loves water she’s not at all impressed.
