I've been curious about the Nima Momeni suit against @sfstandard.com, et al. It sounded like a loser, but no one was posting the complaint. It's a pro se form complaint. Just seems like something to keep him entertained while he awaits sentencing.

Imagine how the team at DOJ that spent years to obtain the Hernandez conviction feels about this pardon.

Curious about how many penalties for Tennessee today. Google AI says they’re not playing.

I always like an upset, but Texas? Sheesh.

Ok, so, let’s say I fuck around. How *likely* is it I’ll find out?

I hope folks realize that between Trump, Kushner, Hegseth, Witkoff, Noem, RFK, Jr., Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard, this country is almost entirely undefended.
Q: Have you heard this audio that Bloomberg has of Witkoff coaching the Russians on how to appeal to you?

TRUMP: That's a standard thing. He's gotta sell this to Ukraine, he's gonna sell Ukraine to Russia. That's what a dealmaker does. I haven't heard it but I heard it was standard negotiation.

Trump doesn't know who Andrew Tate is. But the Heritage Foundation functionaries and Hillsdale College interns who have taken over the White House care very much about Andrew Tate and his ilk.

Looking at our finals schedule, I see that a colleague is teaching "Statuary Analysis." I like that we're inserting a little art criticism into our otherwise staid legal curriculum.

I expected del Toro’s Frankenstein monster to be more than Jacob Elordi with Sharpie squiggling all over him.

I don't much care for figurative painting, but this Bernard Cathelin painting works for me.

How you “balance the equities” in favor of letting people go hungry, I do not understand.

Saw that Alabama is playing St. John’s today and thought, “that will be a bloodbath. I didn’t know St. John’s even had a football team.” It doesn’t. It’s a basketball game.

Q: "have you suffered emotional distress as a result of the mustard?"

A: *whimpers* "please don't say that word."

Q: "The onions?"

*breaks down weeping*

Judge: "Let's break for lunch, ladies and gentlemen."

"did you have to say 'lunch'?"

Whenever I see a stupid penalty in a football game, I remind myself that these are children, tiny babies.

I just saw a video of Marc Maron playing a Johnny Thunders song I’ve played. I was reminded that he worked in a restaurant I worked in. I was friends with friends of his. I had pieces of paper with poems he wrote at BU. He has talked about a band of mine. How have I never met this guy?
