Love this map of the record shops of Soho 1946-1996, put together several years ago by the British Record Shop Archive and the Museum of Soho. Shopped in so many of these in the 80s and 90s, including the much missed Atlas, Daddy Kool, Groove, Mr Bongo, Cheapo Cheapo, Division One etc.

Decent performances from @qprfc.bsky.social today and during the week. If only that late chance from Celar had gone in off the post! I’m still not convinced by Madsen but Saito is a star and Varane is improving. Let’s hope that Chair comes back soon and regains his high standard of play!

The number of times I’ve had to explain to people that not all bands make money from touring! Most grass roots bands I know make nothing from their live tours after paying all the expenses involved! And then they make hardly anything from streaming. #SupportMusic buy their albums, buy their tickets

I know it’s early days on here but I seem to see a lot people boasting about how many followers they have. Not fused about that, it’s the quality of the content I am pointed towards that is important. For some reason I have a stream of cartoons and pictures of the moon on my discover page?!
