I woke up at 3:24 AM and could not get back to sleep. All I could think about was my cat. I have no idea how I am going to get any work done today. Feeding the surviving cats this morning was hard...they are so few now. But I love them. I'm losing my mind a little.

I'm sorry for processing my grief on here. There's so much other stuff that is so awful happening right now, I know that. I am just going to miss her so much. Her little perfect face pushing against mine, her little tail pointing straight up when I would say her name. 15/10 companion. No notes.

Today the at home euthanasia people are coming to do the work of helping my cat. It's so hard right now because she seems okay, but I can feel her kidneys protruding from her flanks. But she's hyper affectionate and sweet and perfect, which is making this decision incredibly hard on my soul.

Found out today that my darling, perfect in every single way, baby girl cat Dolly has terminal renal lymphoma. My position before the ICE murder was already set at "fuck the world" and now I am ready to burn everything to the ground. I am filled grief and rage and I have no idea what I'm going to do
