Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment’s gameplay works surprisingly well in multiplayer. Except for the fact that they inexplicably forbid you from playing certain levels in multiplayer, only to later have what is essentially a rerun of that same level but this time it’s compatible with multiplayer.

Anyone else have a weird resentment toward any musical track you heard in Smash Bros. Brawl’s “Subspace Emissary” mode? I don’t even remember disliking the mode, but whenever I hear a music track from it I’m like “ew”.

Nintendo, you worked so hard making new models for these old characters. At this point it would be a shame not to just put them in Mario Kart World already please.

I finally got out of that gorilla costume, by which I mean cleared Donkey Kong Bananza’s postgame content. Still not sure the DLC is worth it on a saving-for-a-wedding budget though.

I’m not disappointed that we’re getting “Switch 2 Editions” rather than new games. It means Nintendo can focus on new things and weird sequels rather than having to hit new instalments of the usual things.

People are (rightly) annoyed that the classic games being added to Animal Crossing require an NSO subscription to play, meanwhile I’ve been saying for years they should add classic systems that just access the NSO Classics library without closing Animal Crossing. It’s my fault. I requested this.
