FUNDED!
A new series of perspectives on a classic run of Classic Who.
The first book in this range was solid gold, and this follow-up looks equally shiny.
#DoctorWho fans, this is REALLY worth a look.
The kickstarter for The DNA of Doctor Who: The Graham Williams Years from Roundel Books is nearly funded and only went live this morning! Here's @twilightstreets.bsky.social explaining more about the project...

Danny Robins has upstaged me here. I'm somewhere behind his shoulder.
Fair enough though, it's his show - and what a show!
Had a great time last night, today's audiences are in for a spooky treat!
Haunting #9 of the Uncanny pod live tour - the lovely, atmospheric
Theatre Royal Brighton.

Can you spot yourself in the crowd? 👻

We have 2 more shows in #Brighton today! Who’s coming? 👻

Here's a splendid spooky book that your children will want to read - and so will you!
Grab a copy of @dannyrobins.bsky.social & Ellen Walker's "Do You Believe in Ghosts?" for a brilliant introduction to the supernatural.
It's the book I'd have read as a child alongside the Usborne Guide!

A great event at @gobsmack-comics.bsky.social in Horsham today, celebrating their tenth anniversary with lots of great characters - and also enjoying the last pre-Christmas weekend at their Square Eye Retro Arcade.

Beautiful work from @slipperyjack.bsky.social "professionally defacing" copies of the books he's illustrated/edited.
Delighted to have these in my collection!

The more I look at the details about this book, the more I want to read it.
You will want to read it too, so why not order yourself one? You won't regret it.
And a shoutout for our brilliant Box of Delights cover artists. The limited edition hardback is by veteran cartoonist Paul Cemmick and the paperback edition features illustrations by our talented friend @gkw.bsky.social. 🖍️
We’re pleased to announce that Richard Marson’s long-awaited history of BBC Children’s TV will be published on November 17 in trade paperback and a collector’s hardback, limited to 300 copies.

A large number of postcards from this exhibition have just fallen into my online shopping basket.
If you can't get to the actual exhibition (which I can't) then don't miss the chance to check it out online (which I am grateful that I could do.)
Today's painting from my Brave New Worlds exhibition:

BLADE RUNNER (1982)

These are deservedly flying off the shelves. Or @slipperyjack.bsky.social's garage. Whatever. Either way you should definitely buy this book and you won't regret adding a defacement for extra unique art joy.
Cor, all sold out of the standard defacements. I'll set to work on a second batch, ready to go live on Friday 26th Sept ✨👍...
Punch defacement completed. Just getting a few more copies ready before the first sales push tomorrow...

Stunningly saztaculous ceramic @matlockhare.bsky.social piece made by Jacqui Lovesey.
Check out the great contrasting glazes on the fur and clothes.
So glad to welcome him into my little Winchett Dale collection!

A recent trip to Scarborough gave me the chance to check out both of the town's ghost walks.
The Black Widow Tour and The Scarborough Ghost Walk are both excellent and presented in quite different styles so are happily unique too, even when the stories told cross over.
I recommend them both!

Stellar work by all at #ChinbeardBooks on @sophiealdred.bsky.social's "Ace Jacket" book.
So many great contributors and contributions from the worlds of #DoctorWho.
Ably co-edited by the splendid @eatonjones.bsky.social and designed (plus great art) by @roberthammond.bsky.social.
Highly recommended!

This will be brilliant!
Richard Marson is that rarest of researcher/writers, both meticulous AND readable.
Looking forward to reading it, I'll be pre-ordering at the first opportunity.
Work continues on our next book project, Box of Delights: The Story of BBC Children's Television – 1967-1997, written by Richard Marson. Drawing on over 170 candid interviews and clocking in at over 500 pages, the book promises to be the definitive account of the department's extraordinary output.

The paperback edition of @ajwestauthor.bsky.social's "The Betrayal of Thomas True" comes out this week and @orendabooks.bsky.social have made it a strong contender for prettiest paperback of the year.
Gorgeous foil and shine effects and (not shown) lovely spredges too!
