Btw I'm about 300 pages into Brothers Karamazov and so far my only complaint is that I want more of the titular Brothers Karamazov and fewer non-Karamazov monks speechifying
Every winter break I take a big classic book I haven't read before and just dive in. Last year was The Age of Innocence, before that was Portrait of a Lady, this year it'll be Brothers Karamazov
