Gosh this is like a quiet safe haven here. X went completely batshit crazy. Crypto shills attacking me, my account doubling in follower numbers overnight.

What a day.

For anyone wondering what AI means for devs:

Pre-AI, @steipete.me was one of the single most productive devs solving a very hard problem: PDF rendering

Post-AI, he's again one of the single most productive devs solving a very hard problem: building the next-gen Siri (aka Clawdbot)

If you check @steipete.me current projects you'll notice that half of Clawdbot's features come from other tools he's been building. COMPOSABILITY!

It certainly helped.
It's not true but it's funny to imagine that mine and @steipete.me's Claude Code Anon meetup on the 19th is what helped Clawd literally turn a corner on popularity.

been playing around with clawdbot these past days to have it integrated into my Slack server as personal AI assistant

one channel per topic

tbh, especially as a solopreneur, this feels great, as it’s keeping in mind the details and helps you plan + bounce off new ideas

clawdbot has a notion skill for that

the cool thing about clawdbot: you just chat with him :D .. „how can I give you access to to Notion?“ .. he responds with a detailed guide with links to the Notion pages where you create an App token and specify which pages / databases he can access

its awesome

I added yet another channel for my AI assistant Francis, he’s now helping me to get back in shape 😬

this year seems be the time where I‘m working more with a personal assistant .. and the cool thing about clawdbot is, that I‘m still keeping all the main context of my personal data locally on my PC

Whenever I read discourse on AI energy/water use that focuses on the "median query," I can't help but feel misled. Coding agents like Claude Code send hundreds of longer-than-median queries every session, and I run dozens of sessions a day.

Awesome Claude Code Anonymous meetup. Multiple short talks on how people are using AI (not just Claude Code) to build things from the likes of @steipete.me, @orta.io, @nearestnabors.com and others. Many thanks to Orta, Peter and @edsaperia.bsky.social of Newspeak House for making it happen!

High Praise, thanks Federico!

It's been years since I had so much fun building something. Defo feels like living in the future.

Why something as simple as showing a settings dialog from a macOS menu bar app took me 5 hours to figure out, and requires 50 lines of code for what should be a one-liner.
