The Groyper Wars

Much needed. It's crazy that one man is the major influence not only on Reform but also the Tories and Labour. Three parties saying the same thing. Let's see where this goes.
Today, after 14 years, I’m resigning from the Labour Party.

Jeremy Corbyn and I will co-lead the founding of a new party, with other Independent MPs, campaigners and activists across the country.

Join us. The time is now.

Some important perspective on the racially-motivated violence in Ballymena.
#Ballymena 🧵

Rioting and arson against 'foreign' alleged SA minors does not make you a concerned 'protester' when you didn't bother to protest against all these home grown predators all year.

Can't find myself agreeing with this in any way, shape or form.

Now seeing Donald Trump's posts in my Facebook timeline. I am following him apparently. Even though I never opted to do that. Thanks Facebook. *quickly unfollows*

A lot of rich parents are very upset at the government for charging VAT on private school fees. Maybe they should instead ask why private schools have put up fees so far above inflation over the past 15 years. www.ft.com/content/852b...

OpenAI doesn't report a single number for its climate impacts - not anywhere, in any way, shape or form.

It sounds kind of obvious but the fact that a company with such incredible electricity hunger isn't disclosing basic information about its energy consumption and associated emissions is v bad..

Already the cracks are starting to appear. These will grow wider and wider in the weeks ahead. Ultimately they don't trust one another and there too many with their own personal agendas. As in the first term expect a revolving door with continuous churn at the top.

We still don't talk enough about the impact of generative AI on our planet's finite resources.
Including the interview with @katecrawford.bsky.social - and the terrific idea of AI as a “metabolic technology”

To those asking, here's Vance's comments.
When news broke that the terrorist in Germany was a Saudi immigrant, Vance implied blame on all immigrants/Muslims.
When it came out that the attacker was an Elon Musk fan, AfD supporter, and anti-Islam, Vance defended AfD.
He's said nothing else about it.

Canada. The word 'subsidy' here is incorrect. It's a trade deficit and the actual figure is $41 billion not $100 billion. He's basically trying to sell the idea of tariffs, which is a bad idea in this case.
While you were sleeping, at 3:30 am Donald Trump, once again talked about annexing Canada to the US.

Totally normal and not crazy at all
