Putting this on my blog to remind myself (especially while reformatting old chapters oh my godddd)
when I get perfectionist I remind myself that I'm not doing this to make a beautiful series of pictures. I'm doing it to tell a story, and no matter how pretty my art ends up being in the end, that's always going to be the thing that comes first
my comics are janky as hell lmao i’m telling you now: you can just purposefully bake inconsistency into your vibes it’ll still be better than the prettiest inconsistent slop out there because comics are supposed to convey MEANING over aesthetic
