i just need to know that my art means anything at all to anyone and be recognized in a way more meaningful than social media dopamine addict bullshit numbers. if i’m pouring myself into something that doesn’t mean anything then genuinely what is the point anymore
i feel like i’m so much less accomplished than every other artist i know and only have social media likes going for me. how do you become accomplished when your job makes you too tired to make anything real, you’re too old and poor for art school, and your life is all wasted potential

question: when you make a pinned post do you actually worry about how your images will look when the site crops them or do you just post them normally? trying to find a good layout but it's agonizing since most of my art is vertically oriented but it's getting cropped to like 3:2 at best
