The way Trump behaves with dictators shows that authoritarianism is not the reason he wants to take down Maduro.

Did he launch this war to use it as an excuse to cheat in the midterms, to distract from the Epstein files, or just because of oil?

Pete Buttigieg: “It’s an old & obvious pattern. An unpopular president — failing on the economy & losing his grip on power at home — decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one”

He’s using Venezuela as a distraction so we’ll forget about the Epstein files.

Joke’s on him. We can multitask.

Release the Epstein files.

Donald Trump: 'I Could ... Shoot Somebody, And I Wouldn't Lose Any Voters'
The GOP presidential candidate cracked the joke at a campaign stop in Iowa on Saturday. Less than two weeks from the state's caucus, Trump had been remarking on his supporters' loyalty.

American voters will lose more than just elections if they don't vote to get every Republican out of congress as they can in 2026. They will erode any chance we have at fair and free elections in 2028. And that is because too many of you apathetic assholes don't vote like your lives depend on it!

Any Democratic leader who says “we hope that our Republican colleagues will…” needs to be fired.

Stop hoping about things that won’t happen. Stop insisting that the people laughing at you are your colleagues. Grow a spine and start fighting back, or GTFO.

Chevron donated to Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration fund. Chevron’s CEO publicly praised trump’s energy agenda. Chevron donations: 94% Republican, 6% Democrat.

Chevron is the ONLY foreign oil company allowed to operate in Venezuela.

Follow the money.
Chevron Is in Prime Position to Help Unlock Venezuela’s Vast Oil Reserves
The South American country says its proved oil reserves top 300 billion barrels which, if true, would make its bounty the world’s largest.

Trump’s moves with Venezuela are not only a giant attempt to distract people from the Epstein files STILL not being fully released - and from the fact that Republican leaders are causing skyrocketing healthcare costs, pushing millions off healthcare; it’s also a blatantly unconstitutional oil grab.

You can introduce articles of impeachment at any time, Zoe.
You can also work to convince your Republican colleagues that illegal wars aren't good for their electoral prospects. Stop acting like you have no agency here.
Trump illegally attacked Venezuela without constitutionally required approval. Trump says it's to take their oil and that his cabinet members will run the country.

Will any Republican members of the Senate or House finally stand up for the Constitution? Have they no shame?

I'll be honest. I don't care if proposing articles of impeachment is an empty gesture that will ultimately die in the Republican controlled congress, I want Dems to do it anyway. I want them to put political pressure on their opposing party even if it's doomed to fail.
"What do you want the Dems to DO exactly?" is kicked dog behavior. Elected officials are not meant to do insider trading and occasionally give a 4/10 speech about civility. They are an expression of the values of those they represent, you're damn right I expect up to and including physical action.
