Too many don’t understand the “leg up” that assistance provides. There are so many stories about people who started out in families that survived on government assistance who moved on to be successful privileged members of society. Too many people ignore this fact.

The good news is that Trump is very unpopular and his actions are wildly unpopular but the bad news is that a lot of craven people were willing to go along with a lot of really bad stuff that will and has hurt a lot of people. Also a lot of billionaires proved themselves to be huge cowards.

Likely an obvious observation but Trump’s crazy truth last night that the election losses were due to him not being on the ballot & due to the government shutdown implies he admits the shutdown is in fact the fault of Republicans. Otherwise why would Dems destroy Republicans due to the shutdown?

Just answer me this. Why would the Republicans negotiate a solution to American health insurance costs if the Dems open the government when they won’t negotiate in order to open the government? It makes zero sense.
