Had some cemetery adventures in Japan. These are cremains, the prevailing body disposition choice (only, likely) in the country. Close family connections as well.

Last week’s cemetery adventure took me to Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville. While there isn’t a Confederate space there, my friend and I noticed a lot of CSA burials. This history could explain why:

Cuts to NIH not only cuts cancer research, it cuts the next generation of scientists. Private industry does research, but doesn't do basic science, and just as importantly, the private sector can't train new scientists, including those who work in private industry!
