It took me eight years, but I turned in my final assignment to earn my 2nd Master’s Degree.

This one is in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Cybercrime Investigation & Cybersecurity.

What should I do now?

At first I thought it was an unofficial Facebook page.

Nope. This is the official White House account.

OPM advises that military spouses, whether hired through the special Military Spouse Employment Act or otherwise, are exempt from RTO orders.

@issarae.bsky.social cancelled her sold-out show at the Kennedy Center.

I hope others follow, and that they all find new venues in the DC area where we can support them.

Checked the expiration dates of my family’s passports and decided now’s probably a good time to get them renewed…

…even if it’s a full year+ early.

Before the US government shuts down, and/or there’s nobody to do it, and/or the systems that handle it are broken.

Sometimes you have to slap a return label on feedback and send back that so-called “gift.”

The first time I ever turned left on a plane was when I flew to France on points for my 30th birthday.

It’s true. There’s no going back.

Removing all mentions of women’s history while keeping history of men displayed is discrimination.

Before it could be argued as an “oopsie” due to bias.

Now it’s intentional exclusion.

I have full understanding of why candles can cost so much.

It truly is a science, requiring experimentation and specificity for every variable.

Today we did more experimentation with pour temp and vessel temp.

We succeeded in achieving full adhesion to the jar, and far less central shrinkage.

Reducing the number of federal employees to save the government money…

…is like the equivalent of cutting out lattes from your budget.

The lattes aren’t what’s keeping you from becoming wealthy.

Federal salaries make up only 6.6% of the government’s total spending.

So are air traffic controllers and the FAA part of those “low productivity jobs” mentioned in the latest OPM email?

Someone, somewhere, hasn’t got around to blocking access to DeepSeek on work computers.

My heart aches for everyone involved in the DCA crash.

The safety alarm has been sounding for months, and Trump made it 100x worse.

Nobody can think clearly in a catabolic state of stress—fear for their jobs and livelihood, grief for sudden change, anxiety over making new arrangements.

I feel like this is Pinterest’s time to step up and become an acceptable replacement for Instagram.

Should I trust Meta to delete all my data if I request account deletion?

OR should I continue with deleting my posts manually first?

It might break his brain to know that I don’t do *any* grocery shopping.

How do we feel about Snapchat as an alternative to Instagram?

Looking to move off of Meta as soon as possible. Still want a way to easily share photo updates with family and friends.

shifts the conversation from the oppression being discussed…

to the way it is being discussed.”

I'm all for hiring "the most talented people" and designing objective systems to identifying who those people are.

Meta and the like better be prepared though for when that turns out to be women and underrepresented identities.

What’s the right balance between learning and taking action?

I don’t think we need another cybersecurity training program.

The problem isn’t the talent. There’s plenty of people.

It’s the lack of implementation.

A whole lot of talking (past each other) and not much doing.

We don’t stress or fight, but we do love talking about money and our rich life as a couple.

Received one copy for each of us at @ramitsethi.bsky.social’s DC tour stop.

Since then we’ve been reading one chapter a week and discussing.

Tonight is “Understanding Your Money Psychology.”

I never used TikTok, so I’m enjoying getting to know those coming over for #booksky.

My reading skews nonfiction on women’s rights and experiences as it relates to leadership, tech, and financial independence.

I try to consciously diversify with male authors who write on these topics too.
