Looks like Acadia has at least a few submissions so far- none yet from Katahdin Woods and Waters, Frances Perkins, St Croix, or Campobello. Anyone near those fancy a day out and some resistance photography?

My absolute favourite footage from any No Kings protest yesterday comes out of Atlanta - when a brass band showed up to drown out a Proud Boys confrontation by playing the Italian Antifa protest song, Bella Ciao.

The song, the girl dancing with the flag, the proud boys that clapped - chefs kiss 🤌🏼

@jvl.bsky.social: "Having a mass of popular opposition to Trump visible this weekend is vitally important....If 100,000 people show up for Trump’s parade, but 5,000,000 people turn out across the country for No Kings rallies, who looks strong and who looks weak?" www.thebulwark.com/p/no-kings-n...
No Kings. No Surrender.

Tonight is the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride. May his memory remind us all to resist the tyranny forming in our government.

So… this was supposed to be about Paul Revere’s ride, but the Senator just unloaded about the Trump administration and its Republican enablers. Far more newsworthy than I expected. (You can probably see me shifting to “crap, this was not the interview I prepped!” but the result was memorable.)

35+ Dems plan to hold the Senate floor all night to oppose the confirmation of Musk-Trump funding freeze architect Russ Vought. THIS is how we fight back while in the minority.

Change begins in the small acts of resistance: daily choices, quiet defiance, and collective solidarity. These seeds of action grow into movements that reshape the course of history.

My dad was tortured by the Gestapo for 4 days and thrown in a concentration camp for being in the Norwegian Resistance. Growing up, he would tell me things he learned in the Resistance. I thought, I'm never going to need this stuff. Here's some of those things #Thread
