Flustered 35-40 year old human man responds: "Uh... yes...: Vampire is looking at the human's throat quite intently. He asks: "What do you teach?" Professor responds with: "Botany..." then says: "Um... excuse me..." Second page of comic. Vampire asks: "Hmm?" Human says, with hand scratching back of head: "You're staring so intently... Sorry... wanted to share this post from tumblr, if you've ever appreciated my locations know that I would never be able to do it without the help of my friends (my computer). + my eternal advice about how having fun can make your drawings look better
tumblr ask: Your medieval building backgrounds are so detailed and rich! Do you have any advice on tackling backgrounds like these for a semi-beginner? my answer: thank you! I use a lot lot lot of reference photos. there’s so much interesting visual detail to be borrowed from in old artwork and architecture. and I also use any shortcut/hackery I can lol. Perspective tools/collages/3D models… Anything that will make the process as easy as possible so I can focus on the character of the location + mood/atmosphere 🙂‍↕️ honestly though finding a way to make the process “not suck” has been most important for me. this stuff used to be like pulling teeth lmao but once I leaned into making it easier on myself, and found what I liked about it, things really changed. and now working on environments is one of my favorite parts. So I’d say you should find a way to make sure you’re enjoying it!

the first panel of a sketchy comic of teen ace and luffy. it's night time, and they're laying on pillows with blankets on top of them. luffy looks inquisitive and asks "hey ace..." to which ace replies "loof." with a straight face. luffy begins his question with "in m-preg," and ace says "yeah?" with a little amused smirk cracking through. luffy continues, "where does the baby come out of?" ace closes his eyes and smiles more, and answers "the ass, bro." luffy goes wide eyed and exclaims "for real?" ace says "I promise."

At last, I have finished my drawing! Here it is: ink drawing featuring 12 princesses walking in side profile to the right. They are walking through an orchard that hangs with crystal pears and (were this in color) silver and gold branches. The princess at the front has a lantern.
