#utpol i appreciate the people who are keeping cooler heads, every time i start wondering how i can affect change or try to save people, i just feel overwhelmed by how powerful and evil these forces are. the current republican bills are racist, sexist, transphobic, classist, not rational

thinking ahead to the next election im wondering if maybe democrats should pick an establishment candidate with ties to a previous presidency who tries to pull votes away from republicans by embracing center right policies and fear mongering about the opposition instead of offering meaningful change
