Sprinto is back online! (Just needed a token change and a manual restart)

It seems NaNoWriMo is shutting down. In case it's helpful to hear: It is entirely reasonable to grieve the loss of the thing the institution represented to you, even if the institution itself has been rotting for a long time.

Reminder that although writing goals are important, voting is more so.

I swear the best part of writing a book is that time before you actually start writing - when your ideas are still being developed and the possibilities seem limitless...

My "reading as a writer" formula that hasn't failed me yet is this:

Read fiction to improve story.
Read poetry to improve style.
Read non-fiction to improve ideas.
