The Ozark sundrop, aka Missouri evening primrose, is absolutely exploding in the garden right now. Looking almost tropical with its giant yellow flowers, this lovely, tough plant grows low and sprawling in full sun and can take crappy and dry soil, too. I’ve got several seedlings in progress now.

Possibly my favorite of all the Beardtongue species. It looks fantastic in my front yard garden and the name just can't be beat.

Blue-stemmed Goldenrod (Solidago caesia). Like other goldenrods, it’s a vital pollinator food source in autumn/fall.
Shade-loving, non-aggressive + will grow in a variety of soils. Love the graceful arching stems. Native to many US states + southern ON, QC.
