NEXT FRIDAY: Minnesotans are joining together for a statewide day of non-violent moral action and reflection.

That means no work, no school, and no shopping — only community, conscience, and collective action.

There will also be a peaceful march and rally in downtown Minneapolis: iceoutnowmn.com

President Trump (as usual) is trying to flood the news cycle to distract from the fact that his Administration is defying Congress and the law by not releasing the full Epstein files.

We need to hold the rich and powerful accountable, provide transparency, and deliver justice.

Hundreds of high schoolers in Northfield walked out of school and to our town square in support of our immigrant neighbors and against the ICE occupation of our state. I’m so unspeakably proud of them (especially of the head organizer who is one of the teens from my parish.) 🕯️

For all his talk about cracking down on fraud, Trump is perfectly happy to let his allies and supporters get away with it.

The hypocrisy isn’t surprising, but it’s no less staggering.

Any one of us could be detained for hours by ICE despite being a U.S. citizen.

Any one of us could be in the next apartment building that ICE raids in the middle of the night.

Any one of us could be the next to be brutalized by ICE for speaking out.

Authoritarianism hurts all of us.

Now that Trump got that medal from Machado, he will never meet with her again nor will he help her in Venezuela. He’s getting his oil from the Maduro regime, which is all he cares about. He believes she stole what is rightfully his, and now he’s staring at the medal like Gollum.

Epstein Files are why America is under attack by our own government. The Epstein Files are why we will be in WW III soon. Trump raped children. He doesn’t want you to see all the evidence. But it will/must come out. Those who protected and enabled this evil must be prosecuted and sent to prison.

While we’re in the streets demanding ICE Out For Good, Democratic leaders are dodging questions about whether an agency that teargasses babies and kills innocent people should continue to have a budget bigger than most countries’ militaries. It’s pathetic.

Masked federal agents are terrorizing our communities — teargassing babies and pastors, kidnapping our neighbors and shipping them off to foreign torture prisons, and killing innocent people.

But we’re not powerless in this moment. In fact, we have an opportunity to rein in ICE this month.
