It’s been said but it bears repeating: in addition to the people being abducted, all Chicagoans are being psychologically terrorized. Seeing feds driving/walking around and videos of violent attacks in places you know and love will fuck you up. Get ready, it’s coming to all of America soon.

After *three years* of negotiations, Alderman Brian Hopkins has killed the 500 home development proposed at North and LaSalle in Old Town.

The project would have included 💯 affordable homes in one of Chicago’s most expensive neighborhoods.

Wondering why we have a housing crisis? Look no further.

Community meeting #7: WE NEED TO SEE A TRAFFIC STUDY!! 😠

Community meeting #8: THE TRAFFIC STUDY IS FAKE NEWS!! 😡

Have we considered the possibility that "traffic" was always a convenient excuse for "my ✨ precious views ✨ from my 🏙️ neighboring skyscraper 🏙️"?

There is a memorial in the median of Ashland at Hubbard, a terrifying intersection to cross on foot or by bike.

There are no curb bump-outs, concrete medians, or traffic signals at this intersection, despite multiple protected bike lanes and greenways leading to it.

When are we going to fix this?
