Wait, when did Colossus die? Astonishing X-Men reads like a premium HBO series. Joss, why do you have to be such a garbage person? C’mon, man… this is good shit.

I missed touting my wares during spooky season. DOOMWAY: A bachelorette hike along the world’s deadliest tidal trail turns into a fight for survival as an unrelenting terror stalks the women trying to mend their fractured friendship. Because on this trail, it’s heal or die. #scriptsky

The rotating safety lights. The incessant alarms. The wet. The fact that I’m already rewatching Alien: Romulus is the highest praise I can give.

Every few decades, Marvel tries to cook up a new Spider-Man with mixed results. I’m reading The Man Called Nova, where Wolfman asks, “What if Peter Parker ate paste?”

Tron: Ares. It’s The Lost World with light cycles. ChatGPT with a frisbee. Surprised my ass.

Hey now! The Larry Sanders Show knocking Cheers out of my I-don’t-know-what-to-watch-I’m-having-choice-overload spot.

Late to the party. The last Game 7 I watched was the Cubs in ’16. Saturday’s was a damn classic.

I'm cultured, I read. Nightblood. It's Salem’s Lot... with laser-sighted Uzis. What’s not to love?

It’s Halloween, so I’m watching Phantasm on repeat… along with J.J. Abrams.

“It’s trash. Low-brow horror.” – Fear Street: Part One – 1994, yes, glorious trash. plus, Shasta Fay!

They weren't my Avengers (here's looking at you, Sersi, Crystal, and lightsaber Dane), but good god is Uncle Rog's run a hoot. Who’d have guessed I'd be so invested in the bureaucracy of running a superhero team?

Watching Van Helsing. Hey, it’s October, and I’m jonesing for Monsters Unchained.

Play Dirty: Everyone’s Tyrese in this movie. Parker's a master thief who surrounds himself with clowns.

"To the trees!" You go to the renaissance faire, you gotta come home and rewatch Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Them’s the rules.

I could enrich myself and go with a new horror classic like It Follows or Weapons, instead I’m going down the Williamson remake rabbit hole with Scream ’22. Here comes Cursed!

I Know What You Did Last Summer’25. From that Maxim era of flicks. Gorgeous, vapid, snackable.

If you don’t “feel,” watching The Great British Bake Off, you’re a terrible person, with a fetid soul.

I always leaned toward swashbuckling Daredevil and his mid-card villains, the Mr. Fears and Gladiators of the Marvel universe. Waid leans into the Marvelness of it all (FF Omega Drive) and delightful sensory language (“Her perfume cuts through the rain like a siren”), so hard. It’s pitch-perfect.

Getting in the spirit, and filling in Universal monster blind spots. Lon Chaney's dogged pursuit of Gwen is a rough watch. She's fiancé’d up, and the dude just hounds her- popping up at her work, peeping through a telescope, all before he gets bit.
