The MCs said to take the floral centrepieces home, so my slightly drunken friend who I was driving home insisted I had to take it. When I pointed out I didn't want her dropping all that water in my car, she took out all the flowers, poured the water into the teapot and shoved the vase into my hands
False alarm, I forgot about the one small corner of my closet (the one my cat likes, because she can hide behind especially long garments) that coughed up an acceptable outfit. Now I just have to shove some cash in a card and survive two chinese banquets in a row, let's do this
The trouble with discarding all of your semi-formal femme clothes and shoes, is that now you have no semi-formal outfit, femme or otherwise, to wear to this wedding reception on Saturday, and you're broke af 🙃
